I’ve been been a WFH (work from home) tech since the company started it. I’m almost always routed within 5-10mins of my house & have managed to report to depot & replenish my truck only once a week although there are many times when I go only once every two weeks. There was a time where we had only one car & my wife would have to drop me off & pick me up plus we had two kids. Once I heard about this I immediately signed up & since then I couldn’t be happier working from home. The one downside is your out time is when you complete your last job. Other than that this is one of the few & rare good things the company has started, but then again it was Cablevision back when it started.
I dispatched from home and I have not heard any of these shift change , who is spreading these rumor besides everything is on stand by and they can't change anything till we get a contract and negotiate its terms

Show me where in one of the contracts this situation is being addressed. Please stop acting like a union contract will fix everything. None of the contracts in force have teeth, what makes you think yours would be different?
