What does this week look like? Can we relax or no?

Were the employees on bench who were laid off? Or they were engaged in a project?
In the US the severance is paid according to job code so most seem to be getting 12 weeks or so. According to all indications (again, in the US) the job market is strong so if that's the case where you are, 26 weeks severance is very enticing. The downside is having to explain being laid off but it seems as people hear about the tragedy that TD has become, it's not difficult to understand what happened.
I am still with Teradata, and have been with the company for 14 years. Should I wait it out, get the severance and then look for a job, or should I just get another job and leave behind a decent severance package. I am in a country where 14 years would legally get me about a year of severance.
Vic doesn't look too happy...looks like a smaller venue...no wonder with the headcount cuts in the last 12 months.
What's this year's DCT "mantra"? Seems to change every year with no tangible improvements.

Sounds like you're still there and if that's the case, no you can't relax. Get your resume in order and start looking for the next GOOD job since no one at TD is safe nor should relax
