What were the main takeaways from BC’s webcast? I thought there was little substance. Correct me if I’m wrong.

  • Heavy use of buzz words: customers, agile, this and that.

  • Very little transparency on priorities: get more customers — really?

  • Manage headcount reductions through attrition but there will be more layoffs to re-skill

  • Clueless on how promotions and career development incentives will play out

  • Put the right people in the room to solve a problem and then make them ask for resources to a committee, which we just invented this morning without telling the BU CFO, because agile —seriously?

Was this a kickoff call? If it was, I was neither impressed nor motivated by it. It seems like most of the talent in the organization has left or is on the way out.
