Thread regarding McDermott International Inc. layoffs

MZLNG

Heard a rumor that Chiyoda pulled out of the MZLNG JV. Also, RGLNG is waiting for Saipem to sign the JV this month.

I work for RG and I pray to God we dont have you fools and id--ts fool our management into signing with you guys to do the work. No offense, but face it. You guys have made a trainwreck out of every project you have touched. Cameron and Freeport are still in the ditch and cost a fortune to rescue. Someone in your upper management needs a good a-- whipping.

This project is already underwater. CB&I have not done well with pricing. Nothing has changed so why would anyone expect this project to be any different?

Chiyoda has terrible finances. Look at their last earnings call. They have issues with golden pass as well.

Yeah, heard that too. There aren’t a lot of MDR people on that org chart though! Wondering if Chiyoda is going to go it alone or partner up with someone else. The Rio thing though could be a huge issue if Saipem doesn’t partner with us since NextDecade won’t let us go it alone which they are looking pretty smart to do!
