Wow some dumb comments here.

1) Flexible work arrangements (work from home) are one of the biggest perks working at SS (and other companies). It has nothing to do with your job leaving or staying.

2) Quincy is not going to get shut down "soon". EVP+ have said SS will almost always have a presence there. (Also its where most of the MA workforce is).

The posters thinking the work from home jobs are at risk - those generally the trusted employees. When your boss won't let you work from home - be scared. That said, if you were forced to work from home, then it was a way to save money in real estate.

Quincy jobs = low paying jobs soon to be unnecessary.

If you’re in Quincy, you should be looking for a new job, layoffs are coming.

He’s right! Working from home jobs are already a given as jobs that won’t be around long. People are so naive.

No one cares!!!! Quincy is going to be shut down soon, anyone working from home should be looking for a new job, that is a given. The writing is on the wall, they won’t even pay for office space, how long do you think they will keep those working from home positions???? Exactly, they won’t be. Use your head and THINK! If you are working from home, you’re already slated to be let go one day soon.
