My “Blue Chip” and “Be Here Now” desk sign were destroyed when my desk got turned over during the stampede for voluntary redundancy in 2016.
That's what they told me at my exit interview. "Be somewhere else now".
Interestingly there is footage of Keanu Reeves filming The Matrix eons ago, and between takes, he said to the director "Be Here Now!" straight out of Senn Delaney. So it's not some new revolutionary management ethos...it's just that large corporations latch onto stuff way past its time.

Impossible. They need me: they’ve put a sign saying “be here now”. How can they possibly want me being somewhere else? If they fire me, I’ll be somewhere else, which contradicts the sign.

Today, tomorrow, and every day after that. Keep your desk clean, and your personal items at home (spare yourself the indignity of walking through the lobby with an empty copy paper box containing pictures of your kids and your Senn-Deleny blue chip).
