Sounds like they get a severance package and a job:

Please notice that the letter to Lubbock mayor specifically says the employees being let go DO NOT HAVE UNION REPRESENTATION, and additionally NO BUMPING RIGHTS. So there it is in black and white, maybe it would be a different story if these employees facing termination or relocation had representation. Don’t let it happen to you! Sign a card, get representation, save your jobs!
