Found out today that they took a paid-time-off day for everyone. The CEO and executive leadership can take a long walk off a short pier.

One less PTO day before you go to the valley below.
Why are you still working at this company? I left after 15 years and it has been the best decision of my life. Don't you see that they are ripping off people? I was in Career Services and always felt I was helping people but it got to be too much when I saw students brought in that would never be successful but now they are thousands of dollars in debt. Do yourself a favor and get out of this horrible place. You will sleep far better at night
The people that reached their 8 years didn't lose any of their 200 hours. So, not only did those of us with less than 200 hours lose a day, we also lost the increase of hours at the 8 year mark, so once again, less insentive to stay.
But really, was this done to save money because they are either paying for 8 hours worked or 8 hours pto. And what a joke to not communicate this change, mo--ns in charge.
The only ones that didn’t lose are the veterans. Everyone else lost at least 1 day, some more.
Anyone remember those speeches about how DCEH was going to take care of their employees? Good times.
Yes, everyone’s lost a day AND they made it harder to get more time as it’s 5 years and not 4. Nickel and dime the workers....
Are you referring to one last day off then last year because pto and sick time are one in the same... nobody lost days.
