They Sold Us Out, Took Our Voice Before We Ever Stepped Into 273! Why? Fear, Ego and superiority in the good old 273 plant. For a failed attempt at a battery plant and false promises of job security. The one shot to gain anything back was lost to insane pension payments for members with so many years. T Rates got Nothing but high healthcare and layoffs of late. T Rates got told if we didn’t vote they would closed the place, the T Rates got treated like garbage from the beginning by management. Managers where afraid of the D Rates because they knew how to play the game. Now we get laid off treated like garbage still to this day and have more job assignment. All due to a lack luster job code change by our weak union representatives and us. Us I mean by voting this in for a buck. If we held out I’m sure we could of gotten more. Either way the layoffs will continue for the T Rates and this job code shafted a lot of potential members to be called back. Soon More Of Us Will Be On The Streets Waiting And Looking For A New Career. All For A Buck! Really. Hey Mr GE CEO-can I have my pink slip already? Pretty Please?

Bottom line you are all overpaid. Based on product numbers and actual time on product. You can argue this all you want but it’s true.
GE did an amazing job hiring lazy useless production works who all had, have, or developed a high level of entitlement.
We can gloat as we want about how great the product is, but ultimately we loose in the workforce.
Adder ha ha ha $5 adder to do a $40 hr job dumb a$$. This place is comical I enjoy coming to work and seeing the scared d rates and t rates wondering when the next layoff is. Ha ha ha ha this is great. Free entertainment daily at work. On top of that seeing the newer rookie white collar come in and think they know what to do. I see it being set up to fail. Look at all the defects in our products the last few years to now. GE is going down fast.

I just can't understand WHY you would have excepted a job that now your continually whining about, you were offered XX.XX per hr. they told you more than once that it was $10.00 hr. less than current employees!! No one sold you out....YOU sold YOURSELF out by agreeing to the lower pay scale ! I myself would've NEVER accepted that ! Especially without the pension. I actually took a pay cut when I came there almost 12 years ago but accepted it because of the guaranteed pension. Learn to live with the choice you made or move on.

It’s not about what one accepts it’s about pressing the issues the members want. Getting a $5 an hour adders for a job worth $40 an hour with a pension is not an achievement in my book

YOu do realize your lack of education means your unskilled Labor. There’s a reason that sfo got a 5 dollar adder because the people applying for those jobs refused to take them for the ten dollars an hr less so they had to do something. Blame yourself and every t rate that accepted a job here
