Thread regarding Sears layoffs

This will stretch out into 2020

Mark my words. Sears has been on its deathbed for how long now? And every time something came up to prolong its suffering.

I'm betting the same thing is going to keep happening throughout this year. Just look at what has happened so far!

Sad but true. This should be long over, but it's far from actually being over.

I can understand that some people believe this will drag out that long, but two things are almost certainly going to make this the final few months. #1 Cash Burn - SHLD is currently burning through tens of millions of dollars in a single week just to keep the doors open #2 Incoming Revenue is not anywhere close enough to keep feeding the cash burn.

Loans had to be taken out just to attempt to fund operations through the end of this past year and those loans weren't enough because the cash burn increased. Now that lawyers and other advisors are also collecting massive fees the cash burn has increased even more.....here soon there simply will be nothing left at all. INSOLVENT
