Senior Executives and Officers HR Handlers

I came to find out it was some sort of policy that every-time an exec flies out to a site to talk to the people he must be accompanied and handled by the senior HR. Can anyone comment on this seemingly extraneous policy across all the BUs or is it just mine?

Barry Bonds will be glad to learn that his perjury was in fact perfectly legal.

Don't forget that HR is ALWAYS evaluating the senior executives. Everything they do is scrutinized. Why do I have to keep explaining that HR runs GE? It does. You think HR tags along just to stop dumb statements? No. They tag along to do a running commentary on our leadership.

I'm thinking of a phrase which means something like a chair which one is forced to sit in and be humiliated. Our leadership subjects itself to humiliation by HR. It's the price. HR thinks it knows how to evaluate leaders. Think about that.

In fact, didn't Elon Musk recently get fined $20 Million for a combination of words in a tweet about taking Tesla private?

It's about liability. They make sure the exec doesn't say anything that the company can be held accountable for, or say something illegal.
