And just note what a spectacularly bad job Eddie an team has done in managing the brand and image of Sears, its companies, and its brands since the start of Chapter 11? It's hard to imagine a team that could have done a worse job. Between the terrible optics of the bonuses, the disastrous vendor relationships, toxic morale, the constant last minute scrambling for cash, and the dramatic circus and courtroom backstabbing, not to mention the reported billion dollar loss, has there ever been a more mismanaged clown show of a bankruptcy? At no point did it look like Sears was even trying.

@olp Eddie is still biggest creditor, landlord, shareholder and chairman of the board. Who hires the execs? The shareholders. If you think for one moment that Eddie hasn't been in charge you're the biggest id--t here.
Trying???? That hasn’t ever happened under EL.
You couldn’t have hired some one to intentionally screw it up, as bad as these clowns executed
Eddie stepped down on the first day of Chapter 11.
There's probably been worse, but Eddie's failings are particularly well-documented and dragged-out. Coming soon to a business class textbook near you!
When Mervys, Circuit City, Montgomery Ward, Toys R Us, and Robison May filed for bankruptcy there was never this much drama or crooks to what is happening to Sears. What a sad way to go. Thanks a lot Eddie. You are the worst CEO in American history.
