They arent closed because the gov doesnt want schools (good or bad) to just close. Causes problems see ITT as an example.
Will ai be around in a few yers? Probably
Will it be like it is now? Heck no
Ai Pittsburgh has around 30 staff and way more student workers. Still not hiring admisssions staff. Clear sign they don’t care. Just let it close already.
@X1BC2vj-tyn One of the small, branch campuses on the East coast. I'm sure our manager checks the layoff regularly so I dont wanna name the campus lol.
@x1BC@vj-prw What campus are you at? We've also been without a registrar for weeks!
So, all the posting for new jobs are just postings to cover their a-- legally or to make it look like they're growing? I've heard of all the great full-time teachers that have been let go and I think that the powers in charge have no idea how to run an educational institution. Several great full-time teachers with motivation and spirit are FAR better than hundreds of low pay hourly controlled adjuncts who are only there to make a few extra bucks over their full-time gigs elsewhere.
That's a good question. We've so lost enrollment counselors and instructors that our school is pretty much a ghost town. OP top of that, DCEH doesn't seem to be in a rush to hire anyone else (we've been without a registrar for weeks).
Give it a few more months.
