A whole bunch of people in the southeast have weird meetings on their calendars.

So CRO, who was in charge of the organization change has been fired with announcement of the change meaning that his ideas were not accepted by Vic & co. What kind of company it is where right hand doesn't know what left hand is doing???
Those who saw new org. charts and GTM strategy must agree with me that it is a complete mess. But won't be surprised as it was cooked within 48 hours.
We saw internal propaganda trying to convince how new strategy works - subscription based pricing, teradata everywhere, cloud ready. So why the f%*&& this m---acre???
For the last 5 years I saw only bad acquisitions, changing org. every 6 months and good people leaving.
mo--ns rise above
F--- your wives more now and smoke more weed thats the plan I suggest for you all...
Folks this was more than a stealth layoff or cost-cut. They'll say it was a "strategic" move. But they are re-defining (again) who they sell to, what they sell and how they support their customers. They have decimated the teams supporting a number their largest customers! They are are de-staffing roles that impact customer satisfaction and revenue delivery. It's a u-turn from everything they did the last couple years. The "valued" employees that are left behind to pick up the slack and grow the business are in total shock.
For the Person asking about Canada, I heard this morning that yesterday Canada let go 3 Sales and 2 Solution Architects. There is a Professional Services call at 5pm today (8 Jan) so there might be a few more coming.
55 impacted across M.E'.'s marketing organization
This sounds like more than a "stealth" RIF. Where's the press release?
"know that we are committed to treat our people who are affected fairly and respectfully"
Half of the team from RB front end already said adios. After talking to HR, IDs were surrendered and they were escourted by guards to go outside. Talk about trust. Their managers will then get their things for them and they have to wait outside the door. What a compelete joke. We noticed a pattern though, it's either someone who had been a headache or someone with a big salary. But they are starting from people under bench.
Anyone know what’s happening in Canada region? We did not hear of any layoffs here.
EMEA RIF %.
Marketing 50%
IC & Sales 15%
PS 20%
Total EMEA 280 ~
I think they should take their tag line to heart, they unfortunately need to “Invest in Answers”. Clueless leadership.
At least a dozen laid off in marketing today - some in RB, most virtual. Severance based on level.

25% RIF in the SE, alone. Post here if anyone hears of the overall xx% RIF for both Americas and EMEA.
Across the board impact. Predicting double digit %. Sales org structure is removing teams that handle customers below the "Mega Major" teams. Entire sales teams are being let go from VP down. AE's, SA's, IC's effected. Remember when the LT espoused at the beginning of the 2 year transformation that they were leading the company down a better path towards brighter horizons? Well, query this: "The victor will never be asked if he told the truth." (Pun intended.)
If you are someone who was part of the companies past success, you are no longer welcome. All new people who can’t even describe the market they are in. Think that the problem with the company is sales execution and Sfdc will fix that, when the strength has always been about the product. Missed the boat on cloud and still think they can charge exorbitant price for sw.
The one on one meeting pretext to discuss upcoming dct event and account planning in sfdc, a 5 minute script to tell you to hit the road. Very disingenuous, in long run it’s good to be gone, tdc has seen its best days, but like dinosaurs will soon be extinct
Is it hitting PS or Sales associates? Any idea on the number being let go?
This lay-off was planned in November and
Now is move to the execution phase.
How many are impacted?
Company is going down the c-apper. Poor work life balance and lame management and overpriced non competitive products makes this a dinosaur .
The famous 30 minute skip level meeting where your manager's manager sets it up as a 'check-in'?? He/she says adios and HR takes over to give you the layoff info.
Everyone I talk to that has left is happy to be the hell outta there.
This place is a complete joke.
