Some of the deals won't work for customers who don't have SYW accounts, so IMO you should stop the credit card signup pushing before you stop asking about SYW.

What happens if you take a stand and just stop?
Amazon wins because of the One Click Checkout. Walmart wins because of everyday low prices. Is this so hard to comprehend?

All the customers sick of the SYW and upselling have been driven away long ago I'm afraid. You're stuck with the masochists who will shop at Sears to the bitter end no matter how lousy the member experience.
Well, if everyone stopped, upper management wouldn’t know what to do daily. As they only exist to drive credit and syw for Eddie. Anything else, like profit or sales, they don’t know how to do.
Not till Chapter 7, I'd expect.
