Rumors swirling about WOOD putting in a bid to but Technipfmc, anyone else heard this?

After the split, if that ever happens because they set a vague deadline "when markets recover..", legacy FMC will be bought by Halliburton.
Knowledge is needed in aspect to relation of job duties the right man for the job can make or break a company.
i believe it will be Subsea Installation (SURF) that is dealt. Fleet utilization at an all time low in 2019, spool bases around the world draining the bottom line. Let's face it, FMC is who is in charge these days and SURF was/is not their core business. They have taken the Technip actual product lines of Flexibles and Umbilicals and put them under legacy FMC control. Leaving SURF without being reorganized within the rest of the company like all other groups. Just hanging out there waiting for a clean release?
