Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Budget Deficit

I heard recently Phoenix is facing a huge budget shortfall of about 85 million. Has anyone heard this from a reliable source? If true, there will be another major reorganization. It seems new enrollment is far below projections and retention is faltering. Certainly not unexpected.

President seems to think we are on the upward trend. Although based on our leaders desperation, enroll anyone with a pulse attitude, I can see how this is true.

I think when University of Phoenix collapses there the brand name will be acquired to make degrees as gag gifts. So people can give University of Phoenix degrees as jokes to friends and family for a low price for a good laugh
