Amazing that the voters/citizen just accept this situation and dont riot. Citizens without jobs/being laid off and yet millions of H1Bs permitted.
Did I hear that correctly - 1.5 million H1Bs per year are allowed to work in this country until they have their Labor approval and then 85,000 (including 20K masters/phd) actually get the H1B visa via I-129?
So it can be years until they get their labor so they can work until then? What am I misunderstanding?
