Slick back haircut boy is gone, who is next?
He was a good speaker but like most 40-somethings In management, didn’t know much.

So, DH claimed the last round of layoffs were the suggestion of, and pushed by the SVP’s. Who will he blame now that he fired the SVP’s?
Slick was in over his head. I work for the Delaware and it was painful to watch the VP try to be supportive of him but do the things we needed to do to win. In a week since, JR is on a roll and looks like the next best hope for DVN.
I can’t wait to see who they replace him with. I hope it’s someone we can all set down and medicate together.
Slick boy was horrible. Pathetic leader. But KL!?!? WHy?? He was great.
What exactly does the SVP role anyway? Do they report to TV? No. Do they make BU decisions? No. Do they have a pivotal role in generating hydrocarbons? No. Get rid of them all.
Lucky me, I was born on leap year February 29. So I only have a birthday every 4 years. People say I look old for being only 12. Yeah, Merry Christmas to all the survivors.... wherever they are buried.
Xmas is a good time for house cleaning!
Come to think of it so is the other 364 days a year. Except leap year when it's 365.
Merry Christmas to all the survivers!
I would have to disagree he may have been the only one at those high levels that had any operational knowledge and cared about the people and the company
Uh, he uh was not uh a very good speaker. Maybe you can buy out his tanning salon membership?
Slick back haircut boys in management? There a buttload of those, please be a little more specific. Spot on: most management levels or leads have very little industry experience outside of Devon.
Probably the most relevant and spot on post on the entire site.
That's been the problem at Devon for a lot of years.... management that doesn't know much. They usually get to keep their job, while those with real knowledge who do all the work get canned.
