Thread regarding Thomson Reuters layoffs

Salary and bonuses.

TR executives care only about their salary and bonuses. They put on the charade of pretending to care by sending out surveys to measure employee engagement/satisfaction, but they never take action on the results.

I've never really understood why they keep those who were let go under wraps. Do they think employees only interact and communicate with their teammates? When the entire 1st floor of your building is suddenly empty and dark, we notice. When the people you chatted with on your floor are no longer around and their office is dark, we notice. I think it's totally insulting that we're never told in any way - whether a team meeting, all hands, etc. and are just left to find out the hard way.

@Wvs1kTb-dztg - Thanks for posting that link and good God is right. If you were confident your strategy will improve performance, you'd hold onto options, not sell them. Looks like a financial vote of no confidence in the future.

Good God! The man gets the COO job and sells 1/3 of his holdings?

What, no confidence in his own abilities? In his employees and strategy! He's on the way up, not out....

Whoa, is that backwards!

Re: @Wvs1kTb-koh

Thanks for taking my message above from a separate post and out of context so you can tell me the obvious. The point I was making (and when viewed in context it makes more sense) was about how the execs don't communicate who was let go. Thanks for the condescension.
