“the latest DCEH developments” aside from rumor we’re pretty much in the dark. Administrators share nothing vital and corporate shares nothing at all.

If you have some insight let us know.

Your completely on point. These people would never allow their children in the schools they have destroyed. Hell, the pied piper Clifford even sent his own child to a PUBLIC UC school in liberal California...not GCU or Liberty so I guess those 'Christian' values only go so far.....as far as the wallet.

To anyone who still sides with the Dream Center. Would you proudly send your children to the Art Institutes, Argosy, or South? And would you take out a Parent Plus or private loan to help them graduate?

wix-Quick answer- students who hopefully can apply for loan forgiveness, taxpayers who are being fleeced, and anyone with a conscience. And who is “you”? Greedy EDMC and DCEH officers with their mansions and golden parachutes. Thanks to David Halperin for some fine reporting from a once proud faculty member forced to career shift in middle age.

I've always believed Ai had some of the best teachers and programs in career education, and I'm truly sorry that so many fine people, including good friends of mine, have lost their jobs. But Ai has had a series of greedy owners who have engaged in deceptive recruiting and financial aid practices, admitted many students who were unlikely to succeed in the programs, and charged way too much for tuition. In the long run, allowing such owners to run these schools with federal dollars is bad for taxpayers and awful for many of the students. I've also worked in DC for stronger accountability rules so bad actors can't get away with the kind of bad behavior that leads to these meltdowns. If you want to blame me for exposing the dishonesty and conflicts of the interest of the latest owner, DCEH, instead of ignoring the information brought to me by conscientious DCEH employees, sure, be my guest.

... and while you're at it give me back the two years of my life and the $30,000 I gave you absolute sh--s thinking that it couldn't be possible that the mere act of obtaining an education could be so fraught with hateful and callous ill will....

Right McGrifter?

Seems to me it would be more constructive for all - if instead of shutting it all down and damaging so many lives -- why not ensure regulations are adhered to. Sound structure and monitoring to bring us back to what we once were and maintained.

Of course that would mean getting rid of all the liars and the low ballers who choose to not go by the rules of company policy, accreditation especially and all the rest of the governing bodies.

All those who are not qualified for the positions they are in -- we all know who they are - no need for specifics. Bring back all those great employees who did play by the rules and really cared about the students and employees.

Yes - we all know this will never happen -- it's like a cancer now that is relentless -- would have to nuke it to change it.

Quick question, when the doors close, will you be happier that you helped put the students out of their classes or that you helped several thousand folks lose their jobs? I am having a really tough time seeing any good come from all the folks wanting to see this place shut down. I guess it might be nice to understand who the winners are when we (staff, faculty and students) are all out in the cold?
