Was there ever a crazier or worse year in Qualcomm's history? I haven't been here that long, but I can't imagine that much can beat the past twelve months. Hostile takeover attempts, failed acquisition attempts, sooooo many lawsuits by us and against us, layoffs, layoffs, layoffs...
This makes me optimistic, for some reason. It can't go anywhere from here but up next year, right?

Why did they hold it in Maui? First, the execs have their private compound nearby and second, any where with less awesome venue and weather and no operators or other so-called 'partners' would be assed to show up !
