Who recalls the holiday parties - the big huge extravagant events celebrating lots of success and achievements ? Huge fun. A huge huge team motivation to go kick a-- for next year.
Then the party was down-graded a few years ago to cupcakes for all.

The good vibes and outstanding work long since gone.............all about the $ now.
When you have good vibes/atmosphere etc you have motivated people who do great work.
Now people wander into the the office around 10:30; head out by 4pm. In between they spend lots of time in offices behind closed doors scheme-ing and planning and gossiping. Furtively scurrying around the corridors in between to look like they are busy.
GD cut payroll and wrecked productivity. Any senior engs with great product ideas or innovation is looking to get a package, leave, startup with their idea and poach some talents.
The Dave Matthews band was indeed a treat. There was so much energy and good vibes with the company back then. All gone now. Thanks GD and SM for ruining this once great company. BTW, anybody knows what happened to the video of the concert? There was a video production crew that night, but we never saw the end product.
