Thread regarding Sears layoffs

The bosses get out rich and the workers end up with nothing

I know that it’s a hard time for all of the workers, and this article tells the story of some Sears employees that were let go due to the liquidation processes at their stores. Fond this to be a symbol of everything that we are going through. It also paints a good picture of injustice, corporate greed and lack of values that we are facing.

@1lbb Steve Ballmer was OK. He just had a little bit of zeal and a bit of a temper.

In less than 100 years most of the rich and poor will be dead, even if you plan for your after life during your life and aim to bring all your gold with you. Some one will find it take it and it will be that persons. The powerful people will die along side the poor and will turn to dust. When you look into to faces of the super rich and powerful what do you see? I see them planning a new game of life they want to star in.Most play the system in favorer of them as some sort of show playwriter. Using people as pawns. They win by having you follow them you win by going the opposite way. Life is wonderful when every one is happy doing something they love.

What you think of as a conspiracy, the powerful simply call meetings. Yes that is what they do. What the hell else is a conspiracy?

OP, you're so funny. The "rich" live on 24 hours a day just like everyone else. They set meetings on their phones and Google Calendars. Being rich is by no means a good proxy of competence. Some people indeed got there because they were good, but a lot of people rose to their level of incompetence too. Eddie of course never ran a retail operation in his life, but he was CEO of Sears. Steve Ballmer was c-appy steward of Microsoft. They made a guy who ran a soda company CEO of Apple. Some guy with a reality show was voted in as President of the United States. What you think of as a conspiracy, the powerful simply call meetings.

The world is, was and always will be run by the rich. The people so rich we've never even heard of them. The rest are doing what they are told.
