HLC is not buying ca services. Broadcom is laying off ca service people and then has arranged for HCL will hire them. In exchange HLC is preferred partner. Most likely no severance for anyone.

Europeans and Americans invented radio, television, the atomic bomb, the internet, MTV, Britney Spears, the Avengers, the IPhone, Facebook, Tinder and McDonalds. You’re welcome.

Wang was in America when he started CA, moved to America at age eight. How do our think he would have fared had he stayed in China.

Strongest economy, strongest military, and the most innovation. Only whining we’re doing is about the millions of telemarketing and IT support jobs s---ed up, the millions of manufacturing jobs taken with hacked design plans, and the Malaysian madman (who went to MIT because his local schools s---ed) ruining a perfectly good living.

American made every innovation the last 100 years? You obviously have never been to a technical conference. I think you are the example of entitlement.

Broadcom and Bikeboy accelerated the death by 3-5 years. Islandia still would have had the 10 percent attrition but Daycare, the gym, volleyball, basketball, would have remained until 2021 when the lease ended.

Lots of working moms and dads, especially in areas like HR, finance, legal and marketing could have had a nice three years.

Americans can be entitled to this - they’ve made every technological innovation in the last 100 years. All Asians are doing it is copying their work for cheaper by hacking into US systems, forcing citizens into slave factories or speaking English while living in corrugated metal huts.

@WnlxrUH-5xxz, Broadcom didn't destroy any Long Island business.

By the time Broadcom came along, Islandia had a fraction of the employees it did at its peak.

Daycare was already slated to close.

If you want to blame anyone, blame the past 2 CEOs.

McCracken never went out to Islandia, or if he did, he flew in and out. He also drove a lot of outsourcing away from LI.

Gregoire moved HQ to Manhattan in 2014 and started cutting even more in Islandia.

Blame yourself for staying too long and not reading the situation. It was clear that Islandia was dying and going to be killed off no matter when there was a sale.

Another whining American, enjoyed HUGE benefits while bringing in almost 0 profit. Good thing that Broadcom is cleaning up the excessive fat that has accumulated over the years

Broadcom destroyed one of the last Long Island businesses that employed so many. Ruined so many lives and not to mention the children of the daycare who are now forced to leave a school they love! Nothing good can be said of Broadcom. They should have just kept out of our business!

I’m praying for those transitioning to HCL that severance and RSU commitments are honored. I am skeptical - hope for the best but prepare for the worst. HCL doesn’t treat Americans very nicely unless they are the ones paying for the services.
