Thread regarding McDermott International Inc. layoffs

Can there truly be One McDermott Way in a complete clusterf-ck?

I really like our cultural integration live stage shows. They are like Sesame Street but without paying for HBO. "Say kids, how does the One McDermott experience make you feel? Is it this way, the Happy Face? Or this way, the Frowny Face? Or this way, the I Hate This F---ing Hellhole Face?"

One McDermott Way scares me. Management are so clueless but are convinced they are leading us to some Promised Land, these same people who led us into this disaster. Every day makes me chuckle at the blatant stupidity of the people making decisions here. Am I the only one who sees it?

Not saying my value is not acknowledged. But ask me again after HR gets done with its turn beating the workforce piñata. I'm saying this is an objectively horribly managed company. Really, really bad. HR's handling of employees is the worst ever. And will get even worse next year when the legacy benefits protections end. And the pay cuts, you know they're coming. And the offshoring kicks into high gear. And the c suite. Do you think the state MDR are in is not their fault? Do you think the debt and losses were not expected, the debt and losses almost killed CBI which were twice our size! If these people worked for you you would fire them. Horrible past performance is no guarantee of horrible future results but cut the bull and call this management what it is. Really, really bad. So bad and so misguided it is like a farce. And makes me chuckle. Every day.
