What has Hawthorne shop been up to lately??

If you guys are not prepared to file for an election right now, then you are not a threat to management.

when it comes to MBaxter & JCheese, just let sleeping rats lie.

Divide and Conquer Alert!!!!!! Please stop the unions. I am down to 2 mansions from 3 if they continue I will be down to 1 mega mansion. This is not helpful in the usa we might have to go back to Europe there's less resistance. It's going take longer to decimate this company and sell unlike our European sector.

"all i do know is my father was in a union for 25 years an every strike he never got paid. No reimbursement, nothing."

That's all you know? Perhaps you should have a sit down with your father and have him explain a few more things to you.

"Hey Daddy, let me ask you a few questions:"

  • what made you choose to work in a union shop for 25 years?

  • how have you benefited from being union for 25 years?

  • what were the circumstances that caused your shop to go on strike?

  • did striking accomplished its intended goal?

  • can you please show me your last CBA so that I can get a better understanding?

  • you think you would've last as long as you did if you were an AT-WILL employee?

"Thanks DAD. I'm gonna call up all my ex-coworkers and tell them to sign up"

Hey former employee . Ill keep my 800$ a year. Your current job has probably had a union since that company has been around. They were able to lay down there ground laws from day 1. I dont know who you are dont not really care. But all i do know is my father was in a union for 25 years an every strike he never got paid. No reimbursement, nothing. I cant afford for a couple of cry babies to force a strike an i lose my house. Im sure your fine with that still living in your moms basement. But alot of us need consistent pay what ever it is. So please keep your ra ra ra union garbage to yourself. An off the feed. Thanks.

Anyone who thinks the money going to a union is a waste is brainwashed. They can literally save you your job. Those guys who got pushed out that were Injured or were on disciplinary and couldn’t go ATS would still be here making decent money now if a union was in place. They pushed people out. The contacting company ATS wouldn’t have happened with a union sick days wouldn’t have changed along with grade levels. Service had levels from 10-15. They made it 3 with one team captain. Why? The answer is to save money. None would have happened in a union. So unless you were lucky enough to be a grade 14 or 15 during acquisition your completely screwed. What more can they take away? Yearly raises can come into question and what’s your representation with no union? They can freeze it tomorrow if they want but if you don’t have a union you have no say. I left the company and am currently union. It costs me $800 a work year for representation that’s a small price to pay to have someone back me. Our pay raises are laid out yearly and if I have an issue I can grieve it. But I guess no one in ATS cares about longevity cause they drank the koolaide years ago.

You guys should be getting along and not saying things to offend each other. Union !!! finally is a huge accomplishment! No one wants to represent a poor worker! Just a fair days work is all I ask. Tired of getting thrown around.

Yes, it is true! Due to the overwhelming amount of Union cards signed (70%), the company has decided to forgo a vote & just count the cards that were signed. It’s not official yet, but it looks like Freeport and Bethpage depots will soon be represented by IBEW local 1049!!!

Divide and Conquer Alert!!!! Raises for everyone and we are giving back sick days. This cannot affect my profits. I need this ponzi scheme to last another couple years so my kids and their kids will have mansions in 3 countries and be a global citizen.
