Ask yourself this,why would a company split itself into 2 parts with one part salary and the other hourly(with a minimum billable daily requirement).NEITHER one of them actually is employed by the company whos "work their performing"....
ATS is a contractual agreement for tech ops and osp.Therefore being a "contractor" makes you undesirable to.....
YOU GUESSED IT UNIONS!
Even better AUSA whom you dont even work with gets to enforce the policies and requirements of another company altogether.

What happened to spectrum only happened because of the state of affairs here. Everyone needs to stop thinking they are so bad. Just google union vs non union.

Cablevision prepped the baby for sale years ago. They set standards they took care of the customer. Altice doesn't care. We all should care. Lets become one and unionize. Its what will help us! We thought we should for many years and shop that isn't unionized is skating on ice!
Slow down. Take your time. Lets all join a union. If its unsafe in any sort of way say your going to be longer. Its unfortunate but there are too many id--ts in the company to realize this. You don't hear many guys here complaining on the union side because they are one and don't have these issues. But go do your work and get paid. If you have to work overtime you take your time and s--- the company for what it is worth. The problem with the company being non union for its entire existence for the most part is that they know what they can get out of you. A simple remote change program should last for at least 50min if you are setting up your work zone checking bonding and making sure your house isn't failing for ingress. If you can't fix these issues go ahead and use the time during the job to set up the appropriate order. Unless we all become one by following all these "rules" then you need to unionize for representation. The union will help you trust me. Its unfortunate that too many of you guys don't want representation
