Enbridge is ready to start survey drilling for the construction of the underwater tunnel on its Line 5 pipeline that goes under the Strait of Mackinac. Even though the underwater drilling permit is still under review, the company stated that it wants to begin survey drilling as early as the beginning of 2019.
