Lands End is a separately traded company from Sears now. Makes sense that they'll strike it out on their own in companies that have foot traffic.

When our lands end moved out of our store they had an awesome sale of 60-70% off

I miss our lands end store and their clothes

I remember when it was a big deal that they were coming to our store! Nice manaquins those big blue couches freshly painted walls wooden hangers for their product only nice tables for their displays

After they left we just stretched out the misses department

Course I remember when I first started you cd not steer a shopping cart through the rows of clothing.. you sure can now

That has always been the plan. This is from the Q2. 2018 earnings transcript ..

Our new stores make it easier for customers to find our products in person in an inviting brand appropriate setting. New stores should also drive greater brand awareness. During the quarter, we operated our new store in Kildeer, Illinois, which opened during the last week of Q1, and our new store in Burlington, Massachusetts which opened early in Q2. We're learning a lot about customer preferences, and we're using that data to test which products from our whole assortment are best represented in-store versus available through in-store electronic kiosks. Our company operated stores performed better than the Lands' End shops at Sears, and we expect performance to improve as more customers discover our attractive, well-merchandised locations. As you know, we had a goal of opening four to six stores this year.

During the second quarter we had 57 fewer Sears locations compared to last year and ended the quarter with 147 shops at Sears. Currently there are an additional 38 shops that are in the closing process or have recently been announced to close before Thanksgiving. Therefore, we expect to begin the holiday with no more than 109 shops at Sears approximately half of which have leases that expire at year-end.

Before Chapt. 11 announced and already severing ties on over half the shops. Eddie owns half the stock for LE so they have slowly been moving out from Sears. You no longer earn or can redeem SYWR at LE.com and their satisfaction guaranteed at the shops at Sears has been limited to 90 days with a receipt. No receipt or over 90 days you will need to go to an Stand alone store or mail it back. They are going back to majority catalog/online business with a few stores open. I remember at one point it was 89% of business was catalog/ online. Hope they can escape Eddie’s grasp.

"Misinformed and woefully ignorant statement."

Many Lands End shops are currently leaving Sears with Everything must go 50% off sales. The example provided is from Annapolis Maryland and they are exiting the Sears store in January. The link is signage that communicates the Lands' End shop is closing

Maybe so, but your link is garbage and opens nothing

Where would it go? If there is a Lands' End shop in a store that is closing it will leave... if not, it will stay

Pretty simple

@WmbMSd4-wzz... I couldn't agree more. The clothing in Our Lands' End shop is much better quality and price, than the junk that sold by Sears. Plus, you can order on-line with free shipping from the store if they don't have what you are looking for in stalk.

I heard Lands End wants to open their own stores.. Out of Sears completely

Our Lands End left last year to go to bigger Sears :(

Their clothes were the only ones that were worth buying
