Not trying to stir up anything, I’m just curious what each individual’s reasoning is for staying with this company. It sure seems like the writing is on the wall, and more importantly, they seem to have chosen to do business in ways that, to me, seem unethical, tone-deaf, greedy and desperate. Change my mind?

only staying since I didnt get RIF'd (yet !). Holding out hope for a package. But starting to think 2019 is the year to abandon the sinking Q-ship.

I like the abuse, useless meetings, and micro-management. Now that so many people have quit or been laid off, I now get much more time with my TWO managers. It's awesome.

Just maxing out my Roth 401k balance. Not really producing anything, nor is my manager, and I don't think she cares. Gotta love the latest retirement plan options. We're all just stockpiling cash. Winter is coming.
Rest and Vest. I have no relevant skills left useful to get another job, nor do I want to put in more than solid 4-5 hours of work per day, four days a week. I'll ride this sick horse until it drops dead.

No comparable options in san diego. Moving to bay will mean a huge hit to quality of life - schools,h ok using etc. So staying out while it lasts.
I think a lot of folks were waiting for RSU to vest.
The reality is most of the people hired by Q are old folks coming in at Sr Staff and above. They are well settled and can't find a job easily. The motivation/drive is less. The pay is good. All these apply to me!
