Nothing before next year, right?

Year end layoff is not a total bust. Many RELIABLE and PROFITABLE companies roll out new annual recruiting budgets (finance/budget background). The likelihood of finding another, and possibly better, employment opportunity is GREAT. Don't sweat the smallest stuff--the thought of being let go. Look at the possibilities that await, if you are on the Chop Block.
Year End is the busiest time for payroll companies. For ADP, that is between Oct and Feb, so it would be highly unlikely to see any major changes during this time frame. March would be the earliest that you might expect anything to take place. I think you can relax for now.
Yep, run from this company if you have been there 5+ years AND you have the pension!! Its not safe.
Happy Holidays, indeed. Disgusting!
Heard some people were already told that they will be losing their jobs. Told there last day is Dec 31st. Happy Holidays from ADP. Feel sorry for them to be told this time of year.
I doubt that there will be layoffs from now to the end of the year, hardly more than one month away. But after January 1st, count on more layoffs. Definitely.
You mean between now and the end of the year? Haven't heard of any. Next year and the year after different story. Each time it happens, you think, well I survived this one. Not sure I'm going to survive the next two years. If you've been with the company for more than five years, update the resume.
