Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Seriously???

How many customers told you it was "oh so bad and sad" you had to work on Thanksgiving while at the same time being completely oblivious to the fact that them being there on Thanksgiving is the exact reason you were there to begin with?

Maybe it's everything that's been happening with Walmart lately, but I was never this close to rip every single one of them a new one. It took every ounce of self control for me to hold back this time.

Exactly! And the ones that are open pay some sort of holiday pay (except Walmart of course). I'll choose to spend my money at the retailers who are closed on major holidays.

It’s not a given. Not all retail eatablishments are open.

OH yes. Would hear that routinely during my years in that gulag. Most folks were genuine and sincere, even apologetic ---"yeah, I know my being here is part of your problem of having to work holidays, but I always end up needing something at the last minute.."

But the smug a-- hats are always the ones who ruin it for everybody. "Huh. Stuck here on Thanksgiving, huh? Must s--- to be you....HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
