Back when enrollment staff were paid commissions - yes they were - you ended up with lots and lots of diploma mills. The feds stepped in and shut down any compensation tied to enrollments to put and end to greedy enrollment staff - back then (at UoP) all you had to do was get them in, nobody cared if they stayed, as long as you got a nice big fat check! And who are the greedy people? LOL
Admissions reps don’t get commission so no need to sell. Smart people would know it’s fess and not fees. Must be an AI student.
Bad leadership is to blame. Greed, lack of integrity, stupidity, shortsightedness, hubristic, sociopathic corporate leaders in education. And greedy, stupid etc. leaders in congress. And a greedy, stupid secretary of education and a greedy, stupid and mentally ill president.

Lets not forget admissions is sales, whether people want to admit this or not! They hire sales people with sales mentalities. The outcomes shouldn’t surprise anyone. Admissions is comparable to car sales. Just ask your manager, they may be truthful
