I left 3 years ago and only come here while taking dumps so I can laugh at all the tears from those too stupid to leave. You guys remind me of the Pompeii villagers who ignored the earthquakes... smoke... lava... hahahahaha please, more wailing and complaining - it’s delicious.

I am another of the “Class of 2018” who still follows this blog and still cares about those that I left behind, both engineers who I worked with and those who used to report to me. Qualcomm was good to me during the 19 years that I was there, but likely less so for those going through the upcoming RIFs. It sort of boggles the mind that you cannot understand why someone would care for the team with which they worked. Sounds like you were never trying to work with a team for the common good, but rather only interested in doing whatever would further your own interests by stepping over others in the process. I am glad that you are someone that I will no longer have to work with at the Q!

Srsly ppl on this blog who are saying Leaave Qualcomm and it’s doomed why they care so much about qc ppl? Or they are competitors recruiters trying to creat fear so they can hire talent from qc? Hard to believe someone in qc cares so much about their peers

Much, much better off now after leaving Qualcomm. Don’t wait, folks. You will be in a much worse negotiating position if you’ve been laid off. At many companies the hiring process takes at least a month, so get moving if you’ve got the goods.
