I have heard about the restructuring of UKI and NA as they fail to make their numbers. I was also told that a major restructuring will occur with CICs taking the lead for all delivery, meaning no local delivery organizations anymore. Many countries in Europe have barely any local people left because of this model already.

OK so let me ask, how this cannot be anything more than a rush to the bottom as far as skilled resources go??? Didn’t CSC and HPE do exactly the same thing approx 4 years ago before they decided to just send “everything” to India??? It seems to me, that this is just telling 1st and 2nd world skill sets, that you can be replaced by 3rd world skill sets. Looks like IBM India and other low cost labor countries have won. Again just my reading of the tea leaves, but I believe IBM US and U.K. are leaving skid marks as they leave
