The concern about loss of GECAS appears rather serious. Having a captive finance org was always touted as critical to making those large aviation deals happen. Also, to balance out between long-cycle (hardware/service) and short-cycle (finance) revenues.
Who will “buy” GE Aviation engines to lease out if GECAS goes down the Schitter?
GE is almost out of time, yet continues to escalate its commitment to a failing course of action.
Drive that stock price down!
