Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

There is no GPTW

GPTW was an Intel Value that was lost long ago. The 'forced fun' aspect was increasingly ill-funded, and for some groups, was just surreptitiously expensed by the managers just to keep up morale. The finance wing of any group would only give so much money per quarter, and then would not allow the Admins to combine a few quarters to make for a better group outing (like a summer or XMAS party). After awhile, it became just too much of a hassle.

Given the current internal climate where long-term strategy is run by the CFO, there is no GPTW. If you are buying the Circuit feed, you should re-evaluate your belief system.

Gptw not the same. Company not the same. Hoping for erp type package before Aug 1 2020. Or hopefully sooner.

So, GPTW is killed - did they remove it from the Intel Values Card that often came with the badge?

The program is dead as of now.

They killed it a few months before the 50th celebrations.

It was so worth it, the 50th celebrations were a terrific success and there was fantastic feedback on the celebrations... NOT

Hah! I actually wrote this more than a year ago, maybe longer. Still applies, and thanks to OP for resurrecting.

To current Intel employees, does GPTW as a program still exist, even in its formerly crippled manner?
