Just wondering how things are really at HE. It seems like everyone is still pushing the 'transformation', which is to be expected. But how many people are still there and how many people really care?

I spoke to a friend of mine yesterday, a current manager at Hoffman and he told me that he and his team are not optimistic. He's down to only having 2 team members and it's difficult to keep things going. He reported that it is a 'ghost town' at Hoffman.
A lot of functions are no longer being done. Even if the company somehow survives with a last minute agreement on Tuesday, there are no people left to manage various IT and business support functions. When things break, they stay broke, and no one either notices or cares. Internally, operations are in the middle of a total collapse.
@tfs Most of us at HE don't believe in SYW, or the BS metrics being forced. It has always been a failed program. The anger is deserved, but directed towards the responsible people.
@rkf try harder the if the store I'm at is a typical "go forward" store the company is f---ed you've lost all employee and customer trust and y'all are freaking out about shop your way metrics still that was our stores biggest focus this week because the store average was 75% they expect it at 83% or the DM throws a temper tantrum over the phone to the managers ......don't worry the cashiers figured out a legitimate way to cheat and not get caught so those store metrics went up alot this week the DM was very pleased
Complete WHAT transformation? The transformation to a bankrupt hopeless company?
Both comments are accurate. There are people regardless of company they work for who do the samething.
BS those of us still here are fighting like hell to save this company and complete the transformation! Stop spreading your BS
Pretty much everyone is getting out while they can. Obviously they are not hiring replacements so whoever hasn’t left yet is taking on a lot more responsibility. Most people just browse the web or do personal shopping all day, as there is nothing to do.
