Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Sears terminology

Transform Holdco: Seriously! What weed smoking genius came up with this name? It sounds like it should be listed under the NYSE ticker symbol of THC, too bad that ticker symbol is taken by tenet healthcare. It sure proofs lawyers aren’t that intelligent.

Members: I always believed this was a term used for a male body part. “Please invite our members to cum to our friends and family night”. It sure sounds like an orgy with relatives.

Administratively insolvent: Websters defines this terminology as Sears’ current state.

We need cash and not a debt swap to pay the bankruptcy court not to mention the other administrative claims pending. Good luck with that bid Eddie it’s not going to fly in this court. Chapter 7 soon.

Holdco is the abbreviation for holding company. There is nothing stupid or strange about it...

There are numerous companies using the same “name”

Lawyers are smart enough to do their d--gs while taking advantage of the appropriate loopholes in the law and are rich enough to travel to the appropriate jurisdictions
