The moment of truth- the FTC antitrust trial has begun

FTC got their day in court, but what now? We all know what the consequences will be if Q loses this case. Although I don’t think it is very likely that the court rules that Q’s business practices are not in compliance with antitrust laws, this whole situation is making me nervous. I would appreciate some thoughts on what is the possibility that Q loses and are the consequences of that as catastrophic as we tend to think?

To the moment of truth double poster. Good luck with your last wish, what the US FTC does has nothing to do with laws elsewhere around the planet

The moment of truth:

1 - PJ didnt resign ... He was resigned.

2 - Apple have their own problems... "Lack of innovation" is the biggest one and they are reviewing their outlook down

3 - If Qualcomm lose the FTC, they will appeal (may be 2 other years waiting).

BUT, what if Qualcomm win? May this result be spread to other trials around the world?

Qualcomm will definitely lose, it has no chance in front of this judge. Then it will appeal and the appeal will take two years and then they will come to some settlement.

If they don't Qualcomm will need to get rid of its licensing business like they wanted some years back.

But no matter what Qualcomm can not come out of this being completely vindicated and hence can not win completely against Apple and others.

Paul knew this when he stepped down 5, 6 years ago and since then the management has just been prolonging the inevitable death.
