The more I look at this situation the more I am convinced that this way things are panning out is a scenario that has been organized purposely and that at the top new that Sears wasn’t going to survive, even before the bankruptcy was announced. If they went to chapter 7 in the first place there would be a whole lot of dissatisfaction from the workers, maybe leading to some sort of revolt. This way the workers are let go in chunks, wit gradual store closings, and Eddie is there to dismantle what is left of Sears( I believe that his bid will be accepted in the end) while getting the real estate. Also, vendors are much happier with this development of things. All and all, I believe this was orchestrated from the start.

Captain Obvious, this has been going on for 14 years. You just now got the clue?
Good Morning
You're just now realizing what has been going on for years? Have you had blinders on? This is old news, but In the end I absolutely agree with you.
In what world are vendors, some of whom who have had to declare bankruptcy themselves thanks to Eddie's non payments, happy about the state of things?
