Thread regarding CVS layoffs

No Raises or bonuses?

I’m sure this is all CVS rumors around the district, but a lot of talk is going around that bonuses and raises will be put on hold this year for FS and RX. Our DM hasn’t said anything and someone asked and he just laughed and said “idk we’ll see”. Has anyone else heard this, or is it just nonsense and rumors?

We have the same email ! S.C. is this company policy? If not it is the same as stealing from managers

That’s when you call ethics line! No DL has the right to send this out in form of email and then not abide by it 100%! The DL is not a policy maker for The company. On that date ,the email was sent , it became a rule that can not be violated by the DL . If it is violated you have a legal case! This should be challenged!

True! We all received that email in S.C. low country. I am sure the DL will pick and choose to reward his favorites anyway . Be prepared to be screwed out if your bonus.

Managers were told at beginning of year that you will not meet expectations unless all Rx metrics were met including the years register prompts in the Rx that were measured ! This was put into writing in form of an email from the regional leader!

If it means I still have a paying job I’m ok with not having a raise.

Walgreens employee here. Bonuses for team members (Store Managers on up) were cut in half...yes 50% this most recent fiscal year. They fed us a line about reimbursements and a changing retail landscape. I'm sure there will be changes in your business as well.

I’ve heard nothing about bonuses, just to expect to be jewed down based on metrics. As far as raises go it’s going to be 1% max if eligible for a raise. If you are capped, expect a smaller lump sum or none at all, the bar is set high this year for what determines your merit raises, you are either ME or NI, there is no more EE. CVS is tightening the purse this year as far as bonuses and raises go and they are going to use the pay bumps from last year to justify it. It’s going to look like 2008 all over again. No raises and getting your bonus stolen from you. The Aetna buyout is being paid back by slashing payroll and tightening the purse, end of story. Enjoy the shiny new RF units in February, it will be the last bit of new toys we will see for awhile. Expect mid year reviews of store profitability, demands will be changing based on that. CVS is pinching pennies now.

Who cares about raises in our district 85% are redlined

And the pool of $ my DL is given

Almost surly means 2 that aren't redlined will soon be.

Have not had a raise since 2011

All I get is stock options and decent bonus - 8-12 k if in lucky mostly 5k

Nonsense until I hear something I won't believe it. What I would say, the bonus side is defintely a rumor, as it would cause an engagement nightmare with leadership this late in the game. No raise I could see tho for sure.
