COBRA Continuation run around

Anyone else having a problem trying to enroll for the remaining of their COBRA for 2019?

I was part of last year's wave. Things have been going great while working with CA HR. Then it when it came time for open enrollment I found out that going forward Broadcom was going to be the administrator. Since then I have been getting the royal run around with no tracking numbers and just first names of level 1 support people in a call center for over a month now.

My issue is, "caller cannot be found in system" reason for no incident with tracking number, "caller cannot be found in system".

Verbal promises that I may show up in 2019 and it would be the same. The same as what? I am not sure which way this is going but I can only help the will be continuing the plans we currently have.

To anyone still there, have the medical plans changed much from last year when CIGNA was still available?

Enrolling for BOTH CA COBRA and Broadcom COBRA has been an absolute goat rodeo. I have easily spent over 20-30 hrs during the last 8 weeks navigating through the "process". Horrible communication, website links that don't work, numerous phone calls/escalations, being told repeatedly to wait for everything. Meanwhile, I've paid out of pocket for services or cancelled appointments because my expensive COBRA coverage isn't "active" ... can't wait to see the fun in store with expense reimbursement. My favorite thing in all of this is the communications "black hole" otherwise known as cahric@broadcom.com. It's like a wishing well, I throw my coins in hoping to get some response back, which NEVER happens!

I am on the phone right now with their "support". I opened a ticket 10 days ago to get my Cobra benefits figured out, still nothing. I checked exit materials, I was supposed to get a package mailed to me 12/16 with how to enroll in Broadcom open enrollment for Cobra, nothing. I am escalating and waiting for a supervisor, threating breach of contract, undue stress, lawyers, etc... Might as well have some fun while I continue to look for a job.
