Yep.
Was layed off Thursday. Manager lied and deceived his way to my day for almost a week. When I knew it on the first email I received on a Sunday. He lied and d--g it out until Thursday, hope you sleep at night. Karmas a b-tch.They treated me like a fly having its wings pulled off. SS and SK are liars, I guess I didn’t kiss a— enough.
You all are f’d with the weakest people in place now. Good luck!
Great question. If you are an ornamental, non working, just for show fireplace then you will be fine. No changes and you may even be promoted. Additionally you will scour this site every night defending the house flippers and pining for the days of the Friday Blog.
However if you are a perfectly good, hard working fireplace then you are either already gone or living on borrowed time.
Smart question, you must already be gone.
what if I'm a fireplace instead of a bathtub?
VC buys failing companies and then flips them for profit. Being loyal or effective in your role has nothing to do with it. Allow me to offer you an example. House flippers. They buy an old, run down and neglected house at a steep discount They come in and mow the lawn, put in new light bulbs and make cosmetic changes as cheaply and quickly as possible. They don't care how loyal the bathtub has been. They pull it out and put in a cheap new one. Then they sell the house to a chump for more money then they bought and invested.
You are a very loyal bathtub. Kudos. Smarten up.
People are losing their jobs because that’s what happens when VC buy your business....people lose jobs. It will create great opportunity for people who are to loyal to,the company.
If the company was full of so many great sellers and leaders why are people losing their jobs? Probably too many years of people telling themselves that this company is full of great sellers and leaders. It isn't. Eventually the vacant RAH RAH and Friday morning blogs lead to a big pile of fail. Smarten up.
I agree you are an id--t. This company is full of great associates both sellers (SALS & B2B AC) and leaders who can potentially lose their jobs. I am certain who ever does will land in a great place and hopefully better themselves. However, what should not be lost is the pain and hurt many will feel until the initial shock wears off.
So if you think they are losers what does that say for you if you are actually still an associate.
Sure, they are an id--t. How many years does it take to create a strategy? What a joke.
If they were laid off how would anyone know the difference? There are maybe 4 good associates in that whole group and none of them are "leaders".
