Maybe we’re not even aware of how important the outcome of the case regarding FTC charges is. No doubt it will shape the future of how Qualcomm is doing business. I tend to agree with the author of this article that the outcome of the FTC case will also shape the way of how is the dispute with Apple going to end. We have a lot to gain and a lot to lose. If Qualcomm wins, then it’s business practices are given the green light and business can go on in the same direction, but without any pressure on interference, but if Qualcomm loses, then we are looking at a potential radical reshaping of the company, and not just in terms of the business model, but also in terms of the workforce.
