Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

SM, where is settlment with Apple?

On Sep. 26, 2018 SM stated, "The environment is such that a deal could get done."

On Nov. 28, 2018 SM stated, " I’ve been very consistent — that … the second half of this year and into next year is when we’re really on the doorstep of finding a resolution and we don’t see anything different than that."

Either he is a big liar or a just a stupid dreamer.

the sales bans apply to older iPhones. Apple can drag on the case for years and in the mean time, sell iPhones that do not infringe the power savings patent(s).

You have to read between the lines. He likely knew about the outcomes of the German and Chinese cases. If the bans proceed in those areas, Apple can settle.

SM is lying!

Apple attorney William Isaacson confirmed that the parties are going to need a trial and dismissed reports of Apple and Qualcomm being close to a settlement or even talking to each other about a possible settlement.

“The parties are going to need a trial,” said Isaacson. “There have been unfortunate articles lately that the parties are close to a settlement, and that is not true. There haven’t been talks in months.”

After being with Qualcomm for a couple years, I came to realize SM, GD and CA just randomly tell bullyshit in their meetings without thinking about the consequences at all. I am very used to it now.

Molly deserves to be in jail for misleading investors. Wonder what action SEC is planning to take. Or do ethics and laws apply only to serfa ?

He's gonna keep lying all the way to the bank. Another $50mil coming his way for his lying ways and so called 'loosership'. Looser man to the looser company. Oh, but dont forget his winning accretive value and 5GLeadership. If you have any shred of trust in the Molly Mulch, just take a look back at his lies and 'mis-statements' during the AVGO fiasco. The board of fakers had to get their Molly Munchin to lie to the president and fake their sorry asses. Give them all another million for their efforts.

OP, I'm assuming your being sarcastic, otherwise you believe Mexico is going to pay for the wall. SM and Trump share some traits, they are both incompetent narcissistics and neither are successful businessman. Another thing they share, both gladly screw others to enrich themselves.

When Mexico pays for the wall, Apple will agree to a settlement.

He could be both a big liar and a stupid dreamer—and much more: self-delusional, delusional, and incompetent for example.
