Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Happy holidays

Wishing everybody a very Merry Christmas, and a stress free New Year (which, I know might be hard to achieve considering we work for Qualcomm, but I'm certainly going to at least try to stress less in the following twelve months.)

I left voluntarily (with a nice package) in June.

One of the main reasons was the lack of limits.

The default expectation was conference calls with Singapore at 6:30pm and then conference calls with India at 9pm.

All of this to save a nickel and outsource.

Qualcomm stopped innovating years ago

...doesn't matter how much they outsource...with current management the ship is sinking.

Whatever country you work in....your job at Qualcomm will be gone in 5 years.

Sad, and I actually hope it's not true, but I am afraid the direction is clear.

Just think of what innovation COULD have been done with the $30B buybacks!!!!

I will never work or invest in QCOM

Yes set limits, and rise on the lay off list. Everyone is thinking it. Might as well say it.
