Thread regarding Dream Center Education Holdings, LLC (DCEH) layoffs

Studio Management?

There was talk a few weeks ago about Studio Management taking over all core Ai's and laying off all staff. Supposedly, this was "definitely" happening and the date given was 12/21, which is today.

More rumors and speculation? It's obvious certain "sources" don't know what the hell they're talking about.

"Bankruptcy already is in place via Edmc."

That's nice...

Makes sense. instead of trying to fix Ai by renaming it and rebranding it, it appears that DCEH is deciding to push any assets that are left into Studio Management. Now that they have wacked pretty much all the full-time instructors that were making more than they wanted them to make but still less than community college teachers they can go about hiring brand new people of their choosing at rates much lower than the industry standard in my guess.

Bankruptcy already is in place via Edmc. You can’t declare bankruptcy 2x in the same year for the same company. The court cases can drag out for 5 years.

All locations filled for chapter 7. So the studio idea is out.

It’s happening once they decide how bankruptcy will play out. Studio will buy 12 Ai schools minus Ai Pittsburgh due to it being such a “corner stone” to the Art institute brand blah blah blah. AKA keep online accredited and sell off the sc-aps. Heard EM talking.
