Thread regarding Devon Energy Corp. layoffs

More layoffs at Devon in early 2019

Yes there are credible resources that early 2019 there is another round of layoffs. That is the sole intent for the optimization and automation robots. Natural attrition, forced attrition, and non replacement of employees as they leave. Even HR acknowledges if you don't see the writing on the wall you have your head stuck in the sand. So if you need to sell then sell. If you can hang on if get laid off then dont, its as simple as that

Made into a thread from @WGRwD0U-1vtm for important info.

Hey, I just thought about coach Sandusky and took a look at one of his pictures....WOW !!! Devon does have their own Sandusky "look alike" ! However, that is as far as it goes. Devon's Sandusky look-alike is a good person and in a position that is extremely tough. That said, Devon's Sandusky is EXTREMELY qualified to be in that position.

Not easy selling a home in OKC since it's not a sellers market. All the interest rate hikes combined with other factors in the state aren't helping. However, if your career isn't joined at the hip with oil and gas, there are a lot of companies in OKC area ready to hire you.
